Excited to unveil the new and improved hcbc.com website. Thanks to What.it.is for taking the User Experience UX to a whole new level. Love the simplicity. Our next release is focused on an improved Media and Resources section.
The new site features a simpler easy to use information architecture and navigation. It’s mobile responsive so it offers rich content, to mobile users making up 47% of our audience, in a way that focuses on priorities. Content remains king but we also don’t want to overlook the aesthetic refresh and first impression. Really excited about the clean and refreshing use of space. Overall the site has jumped in content page views up by 38% over last year and average time on the page is up 8%.
A big thank you and well done to our friends at What.it.is and for sure not to leave out the contribution of Innovation team at HCBC.

Get ready to be taken apart and put back together in a better way. The Act Like Men Conference is just weeks away!
Look around, what’s so desperately needed where we live are men who embrace all that God created them to be.
Men who are loud and ruthless about their own sin, but patient and full of grace in leading others. Men who long to follow God without limits and meet the needs of those around them without hesitation.
To get there we need radical surgery. It’s time to cut deep and get it all, and not be afraid of what that means. We challenge you to join thousands of men for a two-day conference this fall-to step up with us and Act Like Men.
Visit ActLikeMen.com for the details.
You don’t need permission. You just need to start.
I took some time to write down my goals tonight. I’ve read recently that half of strategy of reaching goals is not to share them publicly. Sure, you need to share your goals with a couple of friends so they can hold you accountable—just sharing with everyone is not a good idea. Interesting.
